" FRANCESCO & JULIA " IS A LOVE STORY BETWEEN FRANCESCO, AN ITALIAN CHEF FROM MOLFETTA AND JULIA, A CREATIVE DESIGNER FROM ANTWERP WHO SHARE A PASSION FOR FOOD, CREATING, DINNING, TRAVELING AND CELEBRATING.

OUR STORY BEGINS IN 2007 DURING A COLD DECEMBER, WORKING SIDE BY SIDE AS CHEF AND MANAGER. WORKING TOGETHER AND STARTING A RELATIONSHIP AT THE SAME TIME, CAN BE CHALLENGING BUT VERY EARLY WE NOTICED WE MAKE A GOOD TEAM AT WORK, AS AT HOME. OUR LOVE FOR EACH OTHER GREW AS OUR LOVE FOR FOOD AND EVERYTHING IT STANDS FOR : CELEBRATION, THE GATHERING OF PEOPLE AND A WAY OF EXPRESSING OURSELVES. WE WOULD TRY OUT DIFFERENT RESTAURANTS, ORGANIZE DINNERS, EXPERIMENT IN THE KITCHEN (STILL DO) AND STARTED DREAMING ABOUT A BUSINESS OF OUR OWN.

ON JULY 14TH 2010 WE SAID OUR ‘ I DO’S ‘ UNDER THE ITALIAN SUN AND LITTLE DID WE KNOW IT WAS THE BEGINNING OF MUCH MORE THAN A LIFE TOGETHER.

ORGANIZING OUR WEDDING WAS A QUEST TO FIND THE RIGHT BALANCE BETWEEN THE TWO CULTURES, AND AT THE SAME TIME FIND A VOICE OF OUR OWN. BEING ORIGINAL AND DIFFERENT IS SOMETHING VERY IMPORTANT TO US, SO WE MADE EVERYTHING OUR SELVES (INVITATIONS, PARTY FAVORS, TABLE NUMBERS, LITTLE DETAILS, CHANGES IN THE MENU…), WHICH MADE IT A WEDDING LIKE NO OTHER.

ALL THIS CREATING AND PLANNING, TOGETHER WITH OUR PASSION FOR FOOD MADE US WONDER ABOUT A CONCEPT WHERE WE COULD COMBINE AND EXPLORE THIS LOVE AND GIVE OTHERS THE CHANCE FOR A CUSTOM EVENT. THIS IS WHEN THE IDEA OF " FRANCESCO & JULIA " STARTED TO GROW AND TWO YEARS LATER IT BECAME REALITY.

WE COOK, WE BAKE, FOR A DINNER BETWEEN FRIENDS, A BUFFET ON YOUR WEDDING, A RECEPTION IN YOUR FIRM, YOU NAME IT. WE CAN ALSO ORGANISE AND CREATE ANYTHING YOU NEED FOR YOUR CELEBRATION, LIKE PARTY FAVORS, DECORATIONS, TOTAL CONCEPTS . WE CAN TEACH , TROUGH WORKSHOPS OR CONSULTING FOR RESTAURANTS .
